Our staff & volunteers
Our staff and volunteers are dedicated to making a difference in the life of women who require assistance. We believe in collaboration and teamwork and know that we can achieve what may seem impossible via working together and in Christ who gives us strength.
Our history
Clothed N Strength (CNS) is a 501c3 non-profit community organization that assists women of all ages in overcoming barriers to economic and personal empowerment by providing free programs that include: career counseling, workshops, styling services (including clothing), and peer support activities to those in need. Since its inception in 2020, we have assisted hundreds of people in overcoming obstacles as a result of trauma and helped them to live the productive and positive life they strive to live for their family and communities.
To help those who are most in need, we rely on the community's assistance and generosity. Organizations and individuals can help us make a difference in helping thousands of women become productive, housed, connected to family, and free members of their communities.
Our mission
Clothed N Strength is a one-stop resource for women in transition, working with them so that they can achieve a healthy and sustainable life. We provide valuable resources, programs, and services to restore strength in countless lives.
It is our mission to provide women of all ages resources to rebuild their lives, preparing and empowering them to overcome barriers to success.
Our Goals
To help women navigate reintegration into the community, our program focuses on wraparound assistance such as interim housing, case management, and legal aid. CNS works to assist women with everything from acquiring identification cards, workforce development skills, reclaiming custody of their children, transportation and clothing assistance, and finding permanent housing.
Clothed N Strength strives to provide tools for women to:
- Eliminate Recidivism
- Gain Confidence in themselves so that they can be successful.
- Be Strong and Resilient in their life journey.
- Become productive members of the community who can sustain themselves and their families and also help others.
Our Vision
To provide a residence for women who are in need of transitional housing, where they can find assistance in a safe, clean environment, gain valuable training and support to enable them to regain their footing, sustain themselves and become valuable contributors to the community.
